The Bacas Are Days From Losing Their Home: Please Help!
I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, her partner Martin, and their three kids, who are just days away from losing their home. They were recently served a 3-day eviction notice and need to raise $2,414.52 to keep from being forced out.
This situation is the result of a series of devastating setbacks. Martin lost his job unexpectedly, and they’ve been trying to get by on a drastically reduced income. Then, on June 25, my sister was in a car accident.
Thankfully, she wasn’t seriously injured, but her vehicle was and because she delivers groceries through Instacart to support her family, the accident also meant an immediate loss of income.
They’ve been doing everything they can to stay afloat, both Rhemie and Martin have been job searching and interviewing for jobs over the last month. But they have fallen behind and without help, they will be evicted within days, and their children will lose the stability and safety of their home.
